Thank you! Just a regular day. I bought myself some hagen-das ice cream bars! And hubs brought home a bouquet of sunflowers last night (when he was an hour late!). We will go out for a fancy dinner this weekend. Maybe sushi or Thai food. yum

Send him out for a good old fashion rain dance. LOL I've never had that kind of ice cream. I rather buy a half gallon and stuff myself. LOL Love ice cream. I also would NOT pay a "chef" no 10xs what its worth for fish they dont even cook ! bleck

It's supposed to start raining tonight and through tomorrow morning, then showers through the weekend.

The sushi I get is usually cooked, crab or shrimp mostly, but I like some things that you would think are weird, like urchin eggs and jellyfish. I'll try anything once, long as it isn't moving! Sashimi is raw fish, which isn't bad, but I am not a huge fan. Raw fish that is very fresh actually doesn't have much flavor, so to me it's a waste of money.

You really like the flavor of sushi ? Its not like its an unusual or exotic food and thats why you eat it ? How many of them little rolls does it take to fill you up? I just think my meat needs to be hot.

I thought all sushi was raw. I love crab and shrimp. calamari sometimes made w/ octopus . OK I love Red Lobster and could spend my waking moments there. LOL AND theres none around AND they were having their all you can eat shrimp.

I do like it! There are even some that are served warm. Seasoned rice and salty soy sauce and a tough of spicy wasabi (like horseradish) are the main flavors. Little seaweed wrapped around it, with seafood and some veggies. Delish! I get tired of eating the same old meat and potatoes, although we had that tonight, and it tasted really good. You should see some of the things I've eaten at Chinese banquets too. Fungi are good!

We have a Red Lobster fairly nearby, but I've only been once, about 25 years ago! It wasn't bad, but I thought is was a bit greasy and most of the seafood had been frozen. Frozen crad should be against the law. No comparison to fresh!
