DW included some cherry tomatoes with my sandwich a while ago. I couldn't handle them; sourest tomatoes I've ever eaten!

Well it's official I got 6 roosters , I just transferred them and give all of them a good look see. My concerns were confirmed, all 6 have the start of spurs .

I have a couple of hens with spurs. One has them grown out rooster size. They both lay eggs. Spur buds are visible on every hen I have. How old are your chicks and where did you get them? breed? Are their combs red?

It just feels funny like its touching something else that I cant feel.

That sounds like a pinched nerve from a bad back. Sometimes it feels like a hair is wrapped around the toe, but there's nothing there. If it doesn't get better, it's another thing to put on your list for a dr visit. If it gets worse, more toes or part of foot loses feeling, you need to go in. Nerve damage of that type can become permanent if left too long.

the last actual known location was when they left Griffith , In at 6:18 pm on Sept 12.

Where were they going after that? Airport? Hoping some ducknapper nabbed them and they are living good.

next question do I as the receiver deal with all this or is it the sender since they did the paying and insuring.

Sender has to do the paperwork, but I'd complain to the highest person I could reach. It's not like a lost pair of shoes or something... they are (were) living creatures.

It must be a nice day outside everywhere! No one online much. I am taking a cool off break while paint dries. Putting the second pop door on my coop today. And blocking off access to the nest boxes until they get older. Will have to install more perches as well. They are getting too big for their little space, about 1/3 of the coop.

Granny, you can still do yoga sitting in a chair. It is good for you to try and move different ways to stay flexible. They have it on TV sometimes. Even chair exercise is better than nothing. How are the chickens doing?
