Granny, we have soooo much in common including the threadbear gowns. I have 3 pairs of pants that are to big since i lost 30 lbs.

H2o, i feement corn & wheat kernels for 3 days. Put in more water than needed to cover. Add water each day if needed. Fermentation takes longer than 8 hrs. I don t do it much in the summer because it usually molds. U can do the feed also. It reduces the amount they poop because they absorb more of the protein.

Oh, sorry, didn't mean to imply it was DONE after 8 hours, I just meant it starts smelling fermented.

Morning granny.

I see my cousins once a year. Same with aunts/uncles. My family use to run the roads visiting all the elders, drinking coffee. I loved it, but I guess that gene skipped me. My cousin who doesn't like chocolate also doesn't like animals (like the rest of us). She said the fluffy pet gene skipped her.

I think that is something we have lost with our generation, because I grew up with the same, and that is sad. Not sure just what happened, but more of the general disconnect I see in people in general I guess.

I have heard folklore of some that dont. I havent actually met anyone. haha

Kind of like people who don't like bacon......or ice cream?

yep that was right after her first litter. She is still around retired out to the farm.

I think it's social media and smartphones. And increased busyness. My grandma is on Facebook. We all see parts of each other, and I guess that satisfies the need to visit even though it isn't the same. I haven't talked to my BFF in a while. We text, but I haven't seen her or heard her voice in a few weeks. I have gut-aching anxiety over it, because she doesn't post as much as other people in my life.

Fed & watered all my critters. Dh complaining because i have fed all the yard roos to bella. This from a man complaining about the feed bill. Can t win with him. He told me i had to cook more than biscuits. He was starving. We had biscuits, fried eggs & fried green tomatoes with our coffee this am. I think his memory is toast.
