I have one of those that come up the hill and digs a nest right under the sucker rod fence every year or two. We also had one MONSTER one that was to big for Rod to pick up even.

turtles are good for candles thats about it. they dont even use turtle in turtle soup.

They do here. We used to catch em and give them to a friend and he'd keep em about a month in clean water to detox them, then they were dinner.

there is a difference at least in my mind. YOU would and could do it if you were able WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY from sitting on your ask and expecting other to wait on you.

They are like fish to me. I'll keep them as pets but can't eat em. I've cleaned enough tanks out that the smell never leaves my memory.
