Granny's gone and done it again

he is gone. Have you found a bite or anything ?

Nothing obvious. I just gave him some Benadryl.

Worse than before. I can't imagine he's snake but again, bit I also don't know where he's going. I'm tempted to think ground hornets, but seems like he's have swelling on the face/body also.
 
Camping, listen/feel his heart beat. Faster then normal ? heavy breathing ?

I don't know what a normal heartbeat feels like. He just seems sad, even before the Benadryl. Just droopy and hobbling around.

When I worked here as a 20-something the directors' little terrier was always getting bitten by snakes. First time was right on the nose, she spent a week at the vet. After the 6th-7th she was basically immune.
 
I know they can build up immunity but different doses of venom and size of snake can make the difference in life or death . If he is struggling to breath or the foot turns cold I would get him in right away. Or if his heart is erratic . What am I missing Ally ?
