When I first got Pygmy goats I thought $65 per kid was expensive! Now you can’t touch one for under $100.

We got the boys as bottle babies for $45 each. Our pygmy doeling we traded for a chicken. and then Roxie was free. It's easy to find mixed bucklings for $50 around here. DH even mentioned buying a Billy from the auction, then selling when we're done. I'm not in a place for long-term separate housing right now. :/ but we have a place where we could separate out Beaux for a while.

I keep hoping that I could luck up on nice registered stock, sell babies, and pay for the winter feed. I'm sure it's just another pipe dream, so I'll probably just look for something cute with blue eyes.
