I had a very successful shopping trip. If you can believe it, TSC is charging $10.99 per bale of STRAW! The lady said it is compressed so it is more like 1.5 bales. Still overpriced if you ask me. I got a hose on sale, mallow cups and beef sticks both on sale, plus 2 foot wide x 10 feet HC for $15.
Went to Lowes and got a new shower head, maybe it will be better than the crappy one i have. Got a crepe myrtle that is supposed to have red flowers on sale there and a sheet of plywood to build the cat scratch post from. Plus one more 2x4x10' for the top of the run.
At Wally World i got 4 bushes for in front of the house, on clearance for under $7 each, they look like $20 at Lowes! I took all they had left, sadly only 4.

I believe the closest Lowe's is 100 miles away. And for most of what I need/use Menard's is cheaper. They even put a Home Depot out of business in Bismarck

WOW I could last year anyway get a LARGE ROUND bale of wheat straw for $20.00 even has some full heads still in there.

Our walmarts are crap for plants. But I've had good luck at Lowe's!
