They don't cause yeast, but they kill off beneficial microbes that help control the yeast. And you would be taking the other drug to control the yeast. Green pus is a sign of a bad infection. Take the antibiotics, because the next step could be gangrene. You sure don't want that.

You need to make a medical note book. Write down all your medications and all your medical conditions. Write down all your doctors names, addresses and phone numbers. Have a page for all the medications your husband takes. I have a small one i carry in my purse. This information is hard to remember but important if you suddenly have to go to the hospital. Also list any allergies you and husband have. Sounds like you can't count on him to take care of it for you.
