Jane & Papa, so glad you are safe & made it thru without a tornado. Hope Papa is in a location that's high if it's still flooding there. Just spoke to Wishing & she wanted me to let you all know that she is safe for now & that she says "Hi" Her & her family evacuated around 4:30 this morning. Her birds are at her sisters house. The fire is still raging. It has destroyed a lot of homes & landmarks in its path. I don't think it has made it to her house yet, thank you Jesus. She is hoping that they won't have to evacuate again, but is very concerned because daylight is when the planes can drop chemicals or water, but the fire isn't contained yet. Lets all keep her in our prayers that they all remain safe. That is the most important thing.

I was thinking about wishing this am. NorCal what is going on it's like a gazillion fires popped up overnight!!!

Me and mine live on high ground , and it hasn’t rained much since last night but my rain gauge showed over 10 inches yesterday and last night ground squished under foot , chickens are on concrete at night so no worries for them

Praying for wishing & giving thanks that papa & me made it w/out tornado/wind damage. Made chocolate pie, purple hull peas, fried okra, roasted butternut squash, pork chops for lunch/supper. 10 eggs by 12 o'clock. Neck & back acking. Think it's from being so tense yesterday.

I am so glad you are ok..I didn't realize you were in harms way.

No, I am about 30 minutes south of Sacramento.
