Sorry granny, I got caught up watching "Catch me if you can" and let my phone die. Now I'm headed to bed, I've had a little headache since around lunch.

Well all the beet from the farm are ready to be cut, jarred, brined and hot water bathed tomorrow. Still have a small bunch of "eaters" to do and then all the beets in the in town garden.

I go to pull quarts jar and I have a grand total of 8 so off to Menard's for 5 cases (12 each) of quart jars and they were cheaper there then Walmart PLUS 11% rebate. Also found a new kitchen fawcet on sale for around $75 .00 So I treated my self to a new canner. My rebate will cover the cost of the canner.

I am beat/beet going to shower and hit the rack. Brother in tomorrow night or Friday at least as of this posting.

Got home at 4:30 to find puppy had tore hole in wire & 4 hens had escaped. Jokes on them. I was gonna cull 3 of them. Legbar walked back in when I fed them. Been gone since 9:30am. Long day shopping & visiting DD. Didn't even get to co-op for chicken crumbles & hay.

mornings, long day ahead . wish I could pretend Im not an adult today and just go play. hahaaa Well, I sorta am already as I didnt get a shower last night and too cold now.

Morning grannyland, wanted to let you all know that wishing and her family are home now. They got the go ahead on Monday, but then her brother was involved in an accident so wishing stayed with him for 2 days. She finally made it home yesterday. She has lots of unpacking & stuff to do, but said she would try to get on today if at all possible. The sun is shining so I will be working outside today. They are calling for some snow next week. It won't stick, but just the thought of it being cold enough to do that has lit a fire under my @SS lol. Hope you all have a great day
