Phew Wishing! Now here’s hoping they get them fully under control and weather doesn’t go completely sideways. All love and respect for the calfire crews.

How’s the weather supposed to be for you going forward? I know down here they’re calling for hot and windy...today was nice and cool and there was some rain but it was only a brief respite. Sigh.

Not sure about the wind, but it is supposed to warm back up this week. Not going to complain about that though, because it's been cold at night and I don't want to have to light a fire just yet. We've all had enough smoke for awhile!

I am nuts. Talking to Tom and Robert about this family of 9 children. From 2-12 yrs. They are spread out all over the co. because No one will take 9 kids. It would be permanent as they claim the parents wont get them back.

Mom was looking pale so I stuck some food and water in the coop. She went after both like she’s not ate in days!

Another green egg has an external pip & is peeping at me & rocking the egg. I made the hole a little bigger & membrane is not dry. 29 eggs just sitting there. 2 are silkie eggs. Gotta stay outta the room.

At the feed store they had full grown guineas for 20 bucks each. Man they are loud!
