Granny's gone and done it again

I am using clear plastic wavy roof panels on top, then welded wire where the roof panels stop. The welded wire will be covered by camo colored tarps. I think it is going to look great! I went for clear panels because there will be no power there so i need light from the sky. The door has a window too. Ends will be pallets, then up higher will be plywood. Thanks for asking. I am posting lots of pictures on Helpful hints for building coops, my building thread.
That sounds good. I like the clear plastic too.

I am getting frustrated... First evacuated, then no power, no telephone, no power again, and now our high speed internet is out... they say maybe by Friday it might be repaired... maybe. We are relying on an old slow line, only slightly better than dial up, and it takes forever for these pages to load. It's all the adds I think. Anyway, I think it's time to try for some sleep.

I haven't had coffee or cokes in six weeks. We've had beef once and pork twice, otherwise it's chicken, fish, or eggs. I eat cottage cheese with a drop of honey. I keep yogurt for the kids to eat for snacks. Tonight I drove the kids through McD's for happy meals and I made a breakfast burrito when I got home.

6 weeks is a long time. What are you drinking?

No, it was Snowflake. Fluttershy is still alive and well and sleeping in a nest box every night. :barnie
Well, good for Flutter, but poor Snowflake. Hope you get something in the trap, but even then, you never really know.

I just woke up for the umpteenth time. Time for bed for real this time. Goodnight Camping. Goodnight h2o. :frow

The Santa Ana winds they are a startin...

Hubs is out on a road call out at a fire about an hour away :/ last update from calfire at dusk was 115 acres and 40% contained. hopefully he’s home soon. It’s weird. I was about ready for bed before he got the call then he left and so I did dishes/cleaned the kitchen/vacuumed the Land of Spare Oom and decided how I was going to shuffle that around a bit (didn’t though wasn’t THAT ambitious!)and now it’s 11 pm and I’m wide awake. Doh. Come on sleep self! Those cluckers will be singing the song of their people before you know it!!

At least I was semi productive on Project Slowvo before it got too hot. Got the hatch hauled out, did some wiping out, replaced the glove box (colours don’t match but that may be a theme with this car lol) took out the busted remains of map door pockets on the passanger side and hubs fixed a busted alternator wire. (Phew. Splicing wires I confess...I’d rather leave that to the professionals!)

Still gotta replace all the freaking seals in the engine and figure out if my trans is leaking oils or if something else back there is or if it’s just blowback from the mess of junk seals in the engine area... It’s messy as you can tell from pic above.

But here’s some evening cuteness.
