Never heard of it, generally wing position is fixed once first set of wing feathers lose blood supply... don't quote me on that though. I know you can't fix it once they're adult, seems it would go the other way too.

Hey everyone! Just wondering if you could help me out on a problem. I have mites! Well, not exactly me, but my chickens.

I only have two at the moment *sob* and I found my rooster really pale (and being slightly slow), I brought him inside, thinking he was cold when I saw he had them. I gave him some iron rich foods (a slew I mad of Strawberries, cornmeal, a tad bit of molasses, and a about half a capsule of iron). I don't have any dusts or medications for them, so I need to know what I need to get. The only place I can put them for time being would be my bathroom.

Any help would be wonderful!

Gordon's 10% poultry spray (permethrin) works best. It has a residue effect meaning you only have to treat once. Let me get you a link and instructions.

So I can use it to treat the birds as well, or is it just for the coop? I do plan on moving them to the bathroom so I can easily watch the roo (he is what worries me most). Should I get some kind dust as well, I know DE has some rather mixed reviews....

NOPE I think bear as all I really want to do is "fatten up on carbs" and take a VERY long nap

Besides when you see my weather you can all be thankful for what your getting

I am running out of pantyhose/nylons, More then willing to accept ones with "ladders" aka "runs" should any one have any of that type. Clean , dirty don't matter.
