You really need someone to help get the premises and all the birds treated. Any neighbours that could help? Relations?they are probably jumping off him and all over my babies right now.![]()
Figure out what kind you have first. It's not necessary to spray the coop for Northern Fowl Mites.Wishing gave me a great idea for the mite spray ! I cant keep pumping a trigger sprayer so I will us a paint roller !
I dont have pop doors, My chickens have screen doors .Figure out what kind you have first. It's not necessary to spray the coop for Northern Fowl Mites.
They do sell mite strips that hang down in the pop doorway. Chickens brush up against the strips and it kills the mites. Those would work for N Fowl mites but not Red Mites.![]()
Nah, hopefully they will be having their last meal on him.they are probably jumping off him and all over my babies right now.![]()
If you want to deworm properly, get some Safeguard or Valbazen.
and I just noticed ! I agree , he is half dead now and may not make it still. He wasnt interested in where he was put or what I was doing. No struggle in him.Nah, hopefully they will be having their last meal on him.
You will need to treat ALL the chickens, though, because the mites are there. You only noticed because the infestation got so bad. I think you caught him just in time. I bet he would not have survived the night.
I only find safeguard at TSC. Never see the other one.If you want to deworm properly, get some Safeguard or Valbazen.
