If you do see that Permectin II spray concentrate, I would get some just to have it. Spraying one chicken I bet you could manage, and it would reduce the mite load without the mites having to bite the chicken more. Instant relief, and the Ivermectin could take care of the stragglers.

Pretty sure Ivermectin gets in the blood stream, but if you have the pour on kind, maybe there is a different delivery system. I don't know. Fipronil is what is in Advantage flea treatment for dogs and cats. supposed to stay in the skin and not be systemic. I have used it on the Seramas and it killed the mites. Not sure if they had to bite, but I did see red adults full of blood crawling on the roosts, dying off.

The Permectin II spray is 10% permethrin. The brand that TSC carries is called Gordon's. Either will work.

I only find safeguard at TSC. Never see the other one.

Good, hope the mites got poisoned and got killed and then died and died again. Now you don't have to worry about spraying the coop.

he is close to 70. I cant use a light because it will blow the heat light on the babies out there. Robert is sleeping again. Not normal and Tom is in bed so I am stuck. I dont have a cage in here.
