Well crud. Blood in my ear again this morning. I could go to the ER, but i hate to do that. I doubt they would do much and i hate to waste a day. I have an appointment with the specialist monday any way.

Yep. It's absorbed into the bloodstream. The mites feed on blood, so it kills them.

Permethrin... right now you just need to get the louse load off the birds so powder works fine if you have that.
