Gift him a box of dryer sheets made with fabreeze. That will definitely knock down the odor.

The fabreze idea might work. Honestly for the most part all scented candles do is mix with the foul odor and make it an even worse stench.

Oh yes. You tell yourself that to keep from falling apart, but it's the little stresses that make it so hard. You are living in unfamiliar territory. Everything you used to do without having to think... making a sandwich, taking a shower, making yourself comfortable... now takes extra thought, extra time and effort. It's all different. It's one thing when you are traveling, and know you will be able to go home... We were only displaced for a week, and I felt it. Her mom is trying to keep busy, volunteering and going to church and such, but I can see how hard it is for her. She has been digging all the flower bulbs out of her backyard to try to save them for the future. She lost all her family heirlooms... a chair and table that came west in a covered wagon, among other things. Irreplaceable. And she lost her comfortable shoes. We all can understand how much harder it is when your feet hurt.

I thought someone had broke in my house and was still there and I took off running next door to my moms and never gave DD a second thought .

I think he "hand" washes all his clothes in the tub and then just dries them in his room. Until he moved in here he hadn't even had indoor running water.

Oh no, not good lol

haha I told you some people just aint made to be mothers. LOL I was in bed and I hear a baby crying mamaa mamaa freaked me out ! Thought it was DD checked, nope she was sound asleep. went back to bed , Mamaa I flew out of that house before you could blink. I dont even know if I was dressed. First words out of moms mouth, wheres DD ? oops ! She grabbed flashlight and hammer and we went back. sound coming from upstaires. Mamaa ! Flashlight was shaking so bad couldnt see crap . I looked under the bed and seen glowing eyes ! I screamed and I dont know who made it back down the staires first. Me, mom or that damn cat !
