a very old man and TBH it does smell like a very old man BUT The old man has never complained or been an issue, ALWAYS early on the rent and has been with me/stayed here for about 10 years. Of course I have NOT raised his rent in almost that long.

umm have you seen him lately ?

when I had the fire here. I loaded up the cat and dog first . Then grabbed the family bible and a couple portable antiques and was then ready should I have had to leave.
OH and the motel check book and all the cash on hand.

It is better when you don't look. I swept the hallway near the door. Lots of leaves, fur, etc.

That's a long time, he's become a permanent fixture lol.

yes all of us are afraid that some day soon he will "pass" in that room. I know he is at least 83 maybe older. Retired vet and the whole works.
