Im gonna buy turkey for Thanksgiving. Dh just asked me to cook him roast beef in Crock-Pot for Thanksgiving. No one cared that I got a storage bldg to fix up pretty much as I please.

You are making us all jealous because we want a storage building too! I would love one to store hay. Sometimes we are just busy doing other stuff, like tonight i need to get some woodburning done and i got a bunch of books to look at from the library...

Jane, dont say no one cared. I am pleased you got one to call your own and I bet you do a marvelous job too. My head aint screwed on tight . Between pain and worry I dont know if Im coming or going but I love you and I care.

But it is great protein and you will get loads of meals from it. Maybe have the grandkids over! Ever make turkeyburgers? You take cream of chicken soup, add just enough water to make a thick gravy. Then add a bunch of chopped up turkey. Ladle onto a bun, enjoy! Really taste amazing.

sounds good. Gotta figure out how to cook the turkey first . I have done it before but its been a yr. lol

Hubs is mad at me. He and my Sibling are off off-roading as we speak. I didn’t go since it’s torture now to bring her off-roading. (And locking her in our way too hot camper wouldn’t be Torture?!?!) oh but she doesn’t enjoy it. (Edit for clairity since somehow a whole schwak went missing where I say this is about my puppers - it’s torture to bring my puppers off-roading.)

She does alright off-roading. If it gets too gnarly, she and I get out and walk. I think he was just more worried cause Sibling has been getting shotgun everywhere which would negate the peach spot (she’s on the floor between my legs in the shotgun seat usually)

So he’s angry. I’m angry he thought leaving peach in the trailer this hot would be a good idea. So we’re hanging out in the shade.

I agree with you. Also sibling would get the back seat because you and pupper (2 against 1) should get the shotgun.

P.S. I absolutely HATE when I’m with family and they pull the car sick card so they get shotgun seat. Which has always been my seat.

well, I talk to myself a lot.

Had to go ... and the dogs needed out. I have not cooked a turkey in years. Husband always does it. Main thing is to get it thawed out well and cook long enough.
