Granny's gone and done it again

Not hard to look it up. Trick is trying to remember an unusual word or phrase that might get you close to what you are trying to find. And use the advanced search so it only looks for posts made by a particular person.

No Twist, only one cockerel left, my keeper, now called Joe.

I had said it was York that warned us about potentially having to close the original thread, but it was Benny!

grannys gone and done it Part 2
grannys gone and done it continues

Any name will do, just as long as it's not grannys gone!

Funny I cant pick a dog name. LOL Poor bandit dont even know his name.

say wish you have 2 roo's now right?? how are they getting along any fighting yet ??

They weren't fighting too much. Went through a phase where there was some chasing and pulling tails. Seemed to be the silkie feathers vs smooth. Joe was top dog and kept order. As soon as the other 3 accepted their rank, the problems stopped.

Wait, when I found a home for the other smooth guy, things settled very quickly. He seemed to be at the center of all the problems, but I never could figure out why. He was called Tommy Trouble.

If they are raised together, you can usually keep 2 roosters IF there are enough hens.

I have way too many roos and havent done a thing with them. People are giving them away right now. well, trying to anyway. My EE roo is actually the best roo I have right now and I dont want him breeding my polish. I seen one for free today so eating him would be the best but I sure hate to. If I give him away someone else will do the same .

I thought you still had another older roo in your flock as you got fertile eggs somehow. maybe he passed and I forgot.
Mo the serama died this summer. I think his heart just gave out. He had stopped crowing a couple of weeks prior, but I didn't notice anything else wrong. Too happy about the no crowing to take it any possible problem seriously.
