Not sure. They were supposed to hatch Friday but didn't. And the bator has been off. They were probably starting to break down. I only opened the two that were alive at lockdown. One had internally pipped.

Could be. He was pretty small. Also, he was eating some layer feed, so too much calcium probably affects the smaller birds more.
I have always fed the little flock chickstarter with amprolium, my thinking........ most smaller birds in general need more protein right? and I have had issues with cocci hear at the mountain run off its always damp wet! did you read about the lethal gene I think the short legged serama are the carriers?
