Granny's gone and done it again

Hey y'all! :frow I'm home and all caught up.

The consignment shop said they were "at capacity" for buying by the time I got there. Who even knew that could happen!! :barnie I was late leaving and then my neighbor needed helped so that took an extra hour. The sales girl was a little snooty when she said "we're usually at capacity by noon." Even though the flier and website both promise no appointments are necessary, the girl suggested I call ahead so they can put me on the clipboard. Sounds a lot like an appointment... :rant

Anyway, kids still needed clothes so I hopped over to target. With cartwheel and clearance sales I got DD a pair of shoes, jeans, leggings, tights, two shirts, and a dress, and for bubba I got three shirts and a pair of jeans for $112. Not bad for new, but could've done better. :/

Oh well, had a nice lunch and fun visit with Katie, so a good day overall. :highfive:

You did well, I think.

Yes it a reversible one but mainly I just wanted more thickness to it. It's an apron, I should protect you from spills lol. This one will go to my mil not sure if I'm gonna make the others like I originally planned. We will see.

Wow, that apron is really nice. You did a great job.

:hugs

Granny, you have GOT to start saying no.  I KNOW it is easier said than done, but dammit woman they walk all over you, treat you badly and take you for granted --- you have GOT to stand up for yourself and demand to be treated the way you deserve to be treated.  THEY should be doing for YOU, NOT the other way around.

Sorry guys, I am back! Our new kitten just pooped on the couch.

Ugh, I hate it when sales people/waiters/waitresses are snooty. Yeesh, I don't even know how people like that get hired in the first place!

Target's never to bad, but of course garage sales have the best prices!

Thanks ya'all for the kind words and well wishes. I got most of my cleaning done except for the livingroom and I will get that tomorrow. Every since my husband retired he thinks he can turn the livingroom into a garage. Well tomorrow all his stuff is going to the garage where it belongs.

Someone asked if I kept the guineas in the coop for 6 weeks. I brooded them in the house in a cage and when the weather got warmer I put them in the baby pen during the day. Around 6 weeks old I put them in the cage in the coop so the chickens could get used to them. About a week later I let them just perch with the chickens at night. Their doing fine so far but I heard they can get pretty mean at breeding time.
