Granny's gone and done it again

Hi, I over slept just a little. Still have to go to town. need my shot today too.   Talked to my sister for over an hr. she seems in good spirits. Said her hair isnt falling out and maybe it wont. she has a pump that gives the chemo 24/5 . I dont know how often the radiation but a lot.  She seems to think the tumor might be shrinking.

Great news about your sister!

Morning all! Sounds like Lisa's husband is a downright handy and helpful guy. I'm generally the handy one around here, because I followed my dad around like a lost puppy growing up while he worked on stuff.

We've warmed up with all the rain, it's all the way at 47 already and only 9 o'clock. I'm hoping it doesn't rain too much tonight, because my goal is to catch as many birds as I can to move them up here to the new place. Gotta try for the turkeys, mallards and muscovy at night. Everyone else runs instead of flying.

we need pictures !!

What kind of cancer did your Mother have Twist ?

well the Dr;s told her breast even thought she never had an actual lump. But they supposedly told dad lymphonomia. I do know 7 of the 10 lymph glands in/around her right arm were cancerous. She beat it the first time and then 5 years latter showed up in her liver and organs. Keep in mind the Dr's told her she was cancer free at the last visit and she said NO there is something wrong/different lower in her stomach and that was when they found it in her liver. She started chemo and radiation for the second time and managed to hold on for another year. She was DETERMINED to make it to my brother's wedding in New Brunswick , Canada. She did at the wedding mass she had the priest break the host in half as she didn't think she could eat a whole one. That Sunday night she ended up in the hospital and passed on that weds morning. We ended up putting her on a morphine drip towards the end. Her kidney's had shut down and liver was disingerating.

my mother never smoked , drank maybe 2 drinks a year, excerised almost daily weighed between 145 and 155 most of her latter life, she was 89 lbs when she passed. At the ripe old age of 52, I was 28, then 26 ,24 and 20. We had an ice storm in ND the night before the funeral up in Lignite, ND and was still the largest reception (meal after burial) in the history of the church up there.
