Quote: they are sure pretty but can also be very cannibalistic from what I have heard. My cousin raised them a couple years. Up here there are hunting and state organizations that will provide the chicks if you agree to raise them and release the certain percentage I think it was 50% of the survivors. Maybe check into that then at least you don't have to pay for any chicks.

what is that mini gourd/pumpkin just above your thumb ??    Looks like a juvie rooster to me.

Exactly what you thought it was lol I pick up free produce from a local grocery store to supplement my livestock feed. Sometimes, they get a wild hair and just refuse to eat something until I make it more appealing. Usually, I have to wander around breaking open melons, apples, squash, etc so they can eat the yummy inside.

Quote: Effects will vary in people, of course. Mole disappearing is good. The burning doesn't sound nice, but could that be from the radiation? My gran had radiation for a rectal tumor, and I know it was painful for her, but she didn't talk about it much. Completely killed the tumor though, and she didn't need chemo. She was 80 at the time.

my mother never smoked , drank maybe 2 drinks a year, excerised almost daily weighed between 145 and 155 most of her latter life, she was 89 lbs when she passed. At the ripe old age of 52, I was 28, then 26 ,24 and 20. We had an ice storm in ND the night before the funeral up in Lignite, ND and was still the largest reception (meal after burial) in the history of the church up there.
Oh wow. 52 is too young.... despite how much I complain about feeling old.

My mom was 66. Cancer is the great equalizer. I am convinced it is more genetic than anything else. My mom had a good diet and got plenty of exercise working on the farm. Her walk to the mailbox alone was more exercise than most people get in one day. She was the last person I thought would ever have cancer.
