Have these been a secret Camping and why cold ?  I dont think the cold one I have is gonna make it. just as well. 

No secret! My farm neighbor asked me this morning if I wanted baby ducks. Didn't even brush my teeth! I woke DH up and said "I'm headed down the road to get baby ducks!" He was sitting on the bench waiting for me when I got back.

"What's in the box?"

Like I told him, I already had feed. Literally all I have to do is plug in the heat lamp.

There were four ducklings in the brooder, then she said the broody was still setting. She's leaving for a few days and I said if check the broody and take her babies. She was showing me, that's when we found the guinea clutch. Lots of lavenders. The Muscovy had jumped her nest, so I grabbed all the eggs. Some were part zipped. One was light, not heavy, so I left it. That's why they were cold. At home I candled and there was one more dud, but everything else was at least breathing. So there they sit.

Morning all! Taking my truck to get the oil changed and get looked at today...minor vibration turned into a major vibration in the past week or so. Can't even drive 70, it's so bad. Hopefully, they won't keep it too long, because I did not get around to hauling trash yesterday like I was supposed to.

@campingshaws Noone can ever say no to free ducklings. They're an addiction. Heck, I can't say no to really anything. I'm trading a couple hens for some Flemish does in 2 weeks lol And still on the lookout for another Rex doe.

Getting my feed for the winter by the end of the week. Buying a full ton so I don't have to go get more again. But, that means I need to have a truck to move all of my feed barrels up here from the old house.

Granny I'm going to try to find them tonight, maybe. I'd need DH's help, and the farm friends had no idea where she was setting. It looked like 20 or so. I told her if I can find them that I'll brood them til she gets back and she can sell them then. Of course she won't mind if I keep 2-4 lavenders.
