Aww, thank you for posting a picture of my new baby!

I'm guessing chocolate ripple for color, just because that's the best color name EVER! After that, then lilac.

They are more interesting than other ducks. U scored, camping.

I have been looking at muscovies for 2 yrs now. If when I get ducks, I am torn between muscovy (very quiet, fly eaters, good mommies, loads of colors) and Welsh Harlequin (calm, great layers, fairly quiet, pretty, 90% sexable before 3 days by bill color). Wonder if they would get along in a mixed flock.

Single chicks are so hard. I haven't put new chicks with a flock until they are a few weeks old and strong enough to avoid trouble, even if they are with a broody. Just too fragile, and it doesn't take much to kill them.

Good morning everyone... Woke up very stressed out. I have no idea what I am gonna do for my kids for Halloween and for a school project for the two big boys. I'll figure it out. Vinnies friend always comes over before school and they walk to the school together. Great kid. I was chatting with him and found out that him and his siblings probably can't go trick or treating this year because his mom doesn't have the money... Single full time working mom of five. Anyway, I had two extra pumpkins that I just gave to them and now Lenny and his two younger siblings are coming over tonight so I can paint their faces and they can go trick or treating with Vinnie and Brandon so I just added an additional three to my original six. I can figure all this out. I'm a smart cookie. Hope you all are having a good day.

Wonderful of you! The kids won't care if the costumes are not fancy. Just something so they can participate. Face paint is perfect for a generic monster/zombie/ghoul. Clothes don't really matter since they usually have to put a jacket on to keep warm.

Took my car to the mechanics this morning. You know how when there is a strange noise or problem that mysteriously disappears when the vehicle goes into the shop? Well, that didn't happen today!

Took mechanic for a ride around the block, and he heard the knocking noise, felt the shimmy, and saw the steering pull severely to the right. Hopefully it will be a quick fix. Hopefully it will be a cheap fix, but I'm not holding my breath.
