Hi chicki. Granny had to start a new thread because the old one (grannys gone and done it) got so big it was causing glitches for byc. I remember you from the old thread when you looked like this. Welcome back!

Wow! Thank you and Campingshaw for remembering! I had forgotten myself!!! Now I remember!
My little bird avatar is my original. It is the 'baby" picture of my precious Ms Noodle. She was my very first chick hatched on the property and my only true "pet" chicken. After I lost her to Marek's it was just too hard for me to use that avatar for a while. Now I can remember a bit more fondly tho I still miss her.

I hope to get caught up with everyone again and make some new friends.

That's what we had last night. I found Campbell's at dollar general, $1 a can and they were "40% more per can!" so I got several. Wonder bread has had coupons for Kraft cheese on it. The universe endorses this meal.

Hi everyone, all caught up reading. YaLL have been chatty Kathy's

Loved everyones Halloween costumes, but my favorite pictures were of camping ducks. Oh boy do I wish I had a pond.Just remembered late last night (Nov. 1st) that it was D day. Got on the scales this morning & I was at exactly 11 pounds lighter. That was my goal number, should be super excited about that, but struggling with the fact that on Oct 1st I was 14 pounds lighter. Only problem with that was I had bursitis in my hip bad, had to get steroid shot & I had Patellar tendinitis in right knee. Body was a wreck & had to stop my exercise program to heal. Just slowing starting back to exercising because the hip bursitis is still tender. It's been a long month with a 3 pound weight gain

I hope that everyone else has met their goal to all. Have gotten nothing achomplished today, so I had better get at it

Could be a special program like that is privately funded, possibly by an animal welfare group.  Ask them...   AFTER he gets neutered!

Mornings, I slept a solid 10 hrs. Felt good too. Tom said baby chick looks good outside. I had one person comment they have some serama and silkies a week old . I told them to come get her if they want. She has taught herself to eat and drink. I just set it in there. Didnt need to ask her twice.
I am putting stuff off I need to deal with. Drs, phone calls, repairs.. I dont know why I do that. way easier to get it over with then to just keep dreading it. Bit-o-lazy?

Huddler wouldnt let me on for a while this am. "updating" again. This is BYCs provider.

Star, i hope all goes well. Don t accept no junkt. When we refinanced our house about 15 yrs ago, we told them we wanted a fixed rate loan. They came to the closing table with a variable rate loan. When dh & me stood & walkied out they were running after us saying they knew we wanted a fixed rate & they printed the papers within 5 minites.

Same. Just a bunch of hollering this morning. Kids wouldn't stop squabbling so I wound up spanking them both. They were late to school.

Beets & carrots are coming up. Need to pick limas & pick up pecans today. My back hurts at the thought of it.

I called the winery and they said I can come down any day wed-fri and fill out an app. I will get pup neutered for $5.00 .

I didn't realize they were still running it down there -- we used it once several years back, fabulous folks and great program - they transport to the snip clinic and the rest of the payment is handled through donation funds the program through the winery have collected. They also have a "dog friendly" outdoor area there at the winery, very much animal lover people there.

It is. Just happens the folks involved in running it also own/run the winery so they handle the administrative parts there and then do the transport to the snip clinic.
