With it getting dark here so early now I often feel like climbing in there pretty early but 6pm is way too early even for me

guess I should get going. Im getting stink eye . hahahaaa  Love it.

70* for high here all week. Love it but pray that it will rain. Baked chicken leg quarters, smashed tators & pintos with biscuits for lunch.
I never give my chickens raw chicken. I would give them the deer innards. Twist, bating a field (putting feed out near goat barn) is illegal. Just saying since you said granny's tag idea was illegal. I think im going get a couple tags & sit in my garden & shoot into the bottoms below. Have seen a huge deer walking through there several times in the early am. Will need to try it at the first of the season before he gets spooked. Our fence with dewberry briars at bottom of garden makes a good blind. Already have my chair & table there so i can rest when working in garden.

Hi all, long day and not over yet. Trying to find someone that can unload my van.

Pictures later , Not chicken related. LOL Its 4ft. long, weighs about 500 lbs. and it is mythical. AND I am geeked . So far I have one maybe.

Well, i can barely move. Did toooooo much. Watered plants, picked maters , turnip greens, few limas that were yellow. Picked up pecans.

Lazy day here. Took the kids to see Trolls, super cute movie. Humor was a little butt/fart related, but otherwise adorable. Good music, too.

Supper is in the oven smoking up the joint. I should've used a cookie sheet as a drip pan but I literally just thought about it.

I've had felted wool dryer balls for the past almost six years. I threw them in the washer because I left a load of damp towels in overnight (oops) and I realized that the dryer balls would probably soak that smell right up. First time for that thought also.

So I'm full of great ideas today!

Yikes, Wishing and Jane -- sounds like you both "gone and done it" and not in the good, chicken math way......lol. Hope you both rest up and recover well.
