Good morning all. Woke up at 3am

. Can't blame the time change, I usually wake up at 4 am

but we set the clocks back so 3 is the new 4 I guess. But is actually 4am now because it took me an hour to read through and catch up on the thread (partly distracted by yet another sappy Hallmark movie). Ain't the time change fun??

Yesterday with sis went fine, but was mostly unproductive. My back is feeling a lot better.

Did see a lot of wildlife. 2 herds of Antelope of over 12 each, a coyote, bunch of pheasants, huns, and sharp-tailed grouse, total of 6 does and 2 bucks, The yaks twice. First time they were NOT locked in the tit area stopped and raised a little h3ll and then came around again about 12:30 and they were in the tit BUT the gate was NOT closed.

So I closed it.
I'm sure it's a typo, but what are huns?

I tried to get the ducks to come over for pics, but they weren't having it. So I picked one up and learned they can projectile poop when scared. I was checking for pasty butt and the poop barely missed my face.

blah My hubs always says a miss is as good as a mile, but I bet if it involved duck poo he wouldn't say that!

@Wishing4Wings I took 4 pics today and went to load them . Camera loaded every picture I have taken. I have always erased pics. on the computer. It says, erase after importing ? and I click yes.

I have always clicked yes. I know you told me how to erase on the camera but I dont know how.

Next time we are on at the same time, have your camera with you and maybe we can figure it out. Not sure why they aren't erasing if you are choosing that option. Only thing I can think is you are highlighting the option but not selecting it on the camera (kind of like not hitting enter on the computer).

My sister is here visiting so I'm sneaking in a quick hi!!!!! It's been a very rough week. I'm trying to get on but life doesn't allow it right now. If you guys are sending me addresses do it on pm so I know I receive them.

Today was a great reminder as to why I am such a soft mom. I don't want to get too much into it but thoughts prayers or whatever you do would be greatly appreciated. I love you guys to the moon.

Two cockerels have rose combs. Father was orp. Mother was EE I believe. But other mothers could have been fayoumi, maran,campine.

None of these mothers have a rose comb. Who is the mother?

EE with a pea comb would be mother to both cockerels. All the other breeds you mention have single combs, and breeding them together you can only get more single combs.

Will the eye dr's office repair the damage that happened earlier? If not, next time buy them elsewhere. Most places (Walmart) have free repairs for kids.

I was just in a mood Tippy, thats all. Started thinking back on my life and all the crap I have gone through. Long distance safety , I was thinking of Twist, Old, I was thinking of Tom. I just surround myself with "safe" roosters.
