I really think this breed could catch on.

Choc orp x white polish

Granny , this is a male? Because of his spurs coming out? Only the buff lace is crowing. The two tolbundt are not yet. Darn I was hoping it was a girl.
Wonder what the genetics are for the topknot?

pointed hackle feathers too and the start of saddle feathers. Thats my guess a roo.

Hona/cochins. I've hatched 4 of them, 2 pullets and 2 cockerels. Both pullets have turned out with dark combs, dark eyes, and uniform blue with darker collars. Both cockerels have turned out with red combs, golden/light eyes, and this mottled/barred pattern. Svart hona roo over splash cochin hen.

Is this a sex-linked trait or a weird coincidence? ? How many would I need to hatch before I could decide?

Very pretty

no actually we have pulled most of the heat lights out of the brooder room. NO air conditioners running, both furnaces are propane NOTHING more running then last winter and even then most bills were NOT that high.
Call the electric company and complain. Our rates have gone way up in the last couple of years.
