Well we made it to the last day of the SS month. Frig has only milk, tea & koolaid in it. We ate pb & buttered biscuits for bfast. Cooking turnip greens & mac & cheese for lunch. Will have hb helper & mixed veggies for supper. No snacks today but we made it on buying groceries for a month. Chickens are eating pumpkin & free ranging today. Will cook dogs & cats some biscuits in a while. Killed a roo for Bella yesterday.

Red in the morning(sky) means good chance of rain. Now we have dark blue clouds. Praying for rain. Dd was raking huge corn field yesterday. They are bailing corn stalks for cows to eat this winter. Her fil fed moldy hay & 4 cows died. 2 of his cows got out & were hit by a train. Getting serious here. No rain since sept 1st.

Hope you get rain! Dairy farmers here have to buy hay from out of state. Milk gets expensive during drought years.

H2o, dh gets his on 9th(2nd wed.). My 1st one will be next month on 12/21. Maybe we will have a little wigggggle room then. Need a dishwasher bad.
