LOL we voted. Took the kids in the booths with us.
I think that is outstanding that you took them with you -- I know it made an impression on me as a kid when I went with my folks. I had DS sit with me while I filled out my ballot here in Oregon - gave him the "voters information booklet" and had him read the information for each thing we were voting on (people and measures) to make his own choice too.

Morning everyone go vote today..

LOL - way ahead of you - we vote by mail in Oregon and I had mine sent in almost two weeks ago.

ugg, thats it ? go vote ? how is your DH what did the dr. say? what did he say about you ?

You get "the rest of the story" after you vote!
Well we made it to the last day of the SS month. Frig has only milk, tea & koolaid in it. We ate pb & buttered biscuits for bfast. Cooking turnip greens & mac & cheese for lunch. Will have hb helper & mixed veggies for supper. No snacks today but we made it on buying groceries for a month. Chickens are eating pumpkin & free ranging today. Will cook dogs & cats some biscuits in a while. Killed a roo for Bella yesterday.

SO misread that at first - read as "will cook dogs & cats" -.....was concerned you were getting a little too desperate.

to you, I know what it's like to have the cupboards going bare and being a ways off of being able to do anything about it - and making the most of what you do have. I have to admit I have developed a bit of an issue with feeling some insecurity about that now and have started re-stocking my pantry since we moved and settled (was a very uncomfortable feeling to have no food after leaving my other stockpile with DD when we moved), and find myself needing to have way more put up than I ever had to have before to feel comfortable......

WOO HOO -- I'm an official Oregonian now.......hit the DMV this morning and WOW, what a difference a few days made....there was NO ONE in the parking lot, I actually stopped for a second and thought they might be closed because it's election day (we *had* to be open on election days in IN because you have to show ID to vote there, so all we did on election days was DL and ID issuance for all hours the polls were open, here in OR there is no ID requirement......don't get me started on how I feel about that

) -- but turns out it was just not busy, AT ALL. I was in and out in like 20 minutes, and that includes the time it took to finish the test.....have my fancy paper/temp license and my "real" one will be out in the mail in a couple of weeks
