Granny's gone and done it again

What a day ! Started into town to drop CBs glasses off and pick up meds. Found a young man on the side of the road with a flat and I noticed his donut was flat as well.I had half a can of fix a flat left so I turned around to offer it to him. He was limping and in the same spot where I had found that boy that I helped a few yrs. back. His tire couldnt use the can So I offered him a ride. It was much longer ride then I expected and when we got there It was the house DD was supposed to get and never did. They put her in that trailer supposed to be for a month til they finished this house up. LOL Talking to this boy I said, I noticed you limping ? He said, yes, this is a terrible road. I flipped my car and needed surgery on it. Drs said I wouldnt walk but here I am. I just smiled and said , you be safe now.
Then we got the meds , got CBs glasses fixed the best they could . They ordered another lens ,and took off to Madison. Orshelens or TSC dont have what I am looking for and maybe they dont make it . Its higher protein in a pellet form. Like 18% at least. all I find is crumble and its hard for turkey to eat dust.
then we went to wally world and bought CB something for Christmas. We will do Robert next month.
Remember taco bell messing up our order and telling me to come in and they would replace it all ? I did, they did. get home and they have screwed up the order again ! they put lettuce on 12 tacos that Robert cant and CB wont eat. So, I lost my food again. Traded with Robert and there was a message on the phone. Please come get your child from school. They had 20 min. of school left. So I called . Seems the little guy been laying in their bed all day with a belly ache. I said he will be released in 20 min. she said, ya, you need to come get him. Tom got the honor of putting all the grocerys away while we went to pick him up. He immediately ate with no problem. I think he might of used his stomach muscles moving the hay bales.
Im glad to be home.

Rural King has a higher protein pellet -- I'll have to try to think of the name, but they do have it......it might be one of their meat bird formulas, think it was 20%, maybe 22. I was using it for quite a while but got tired of making the extra drive to get to a RK

RE Toddlers and Tiaras -- I have never seen a larger collection of truly ugly people in one place than in watching an episode of that trainwreck -- and it's the kind of ugly that can't be fixed because it's an ugliness of the soul.....the kids are cute enough, but the parents are truly ugly people.

What did you use ? flock raiser is dust not crumble which is great for the serama babies but not so much a turkey. I cant see making that trip either.

It was so gray and foggy. I'm having a coffee now. We'll see how that goes in a few hours.

When I did TSC I did flock raiser -- the bags are very hit and miss with some being almost all powder, very frustrating ......... I just served it wetted when it was too powdery, but that does make it more work and means no being able to fill feeders and leave it for days at a time.

This *may* be what I was getting, but I thought it was higher than 18% so I am not completely sure:

I really liked the pellet size of what I was getting, I do know that. Do you know anyone that goes to Greensburg regularly for work or doctor or anything that could pick up feed for you? I got in the habit of buying a month's worth at a time so I only had to go once a month, but that can be hard to do cost wise sometimes I know.

Apparently I get to be social Friday night - blargh -- DH's boss invited DH/I and FIL/MIL to go to the Elks with him in honor of Veterans Day/USMC 'Birthday' ---- so not looking forward to it, but I do see they serve Prime Rib there on Friday nights......you know the old, "What would you do for a klondike bar" -- insert "Prime Rib" and the answer for me is, just about anything, lol.

I understand, I strongly dislike being social, but sometimes it's necessary for food.

DH ordered a sous vide cooker (caught a deal on models with damaged packaging) so we drive around in search of the perfect steaks today. I'm supposed to go to town tomorrow, and maybe I still will. I'd love to have some nice fish.
