Granny's gone and done it again

:hugs good to hear.

Still sleepy. DH has the steaks cooking.

I've been deep cleaning the kitchen, slowly but surely. I'm soaking the labels off some bottles, gotta clear a bit of clutter, a couples shelves left in the fridge, washing the cabinet fronts, and sweeping/mopping.

We love our sous vide. We have the same exact model. It's perfect for boiling eggs or for creme brule/pots de creme in little jars. And we have had the best results with duck done sous vide.

We have a friend who is a sou vide fanatic. He sears the meat before the water bath... not so good. In fact, we didn't care for it at all. Yours looks much better! :drool
We seared it afterwards. That's the key I think.
