morning everyone..big frost here..

Morning Danna. :hugs :hugs

hey Camp how you doing? i have missed everyone, been taking care of DH..:hugs

We're good. Y'all holding up ok?

his MRI was 10 times worse than last one he had 4 years ago.so that means surgery and they said it would be at least 2 weeks before doc could see him.he is in pain and the pain pills don't help..

So sorry. Big hugs and prayers for y'all.

thank your DH from/for me for being a vet
I will - suspect it may be a long night here, last night satrted the celebration as it was the USMC birthday so DH and FIL had a bit of a good time.......gets loud and rowdy (in a goofy way) enough with just the two of them, can only imagine with all the vets we'll be with tonight -- a whole lot of "one for Corps/One for the country/One for the fallen" calls for taking a drink.

I sure hope your asking Mare and not me me in an evening gown would not be good.

LMAO - I don't know, Twist, might be something worth seeing at least once.......somewhere I have a picture of my dad dressed as a woman for Halloween one year, it was something else......

Can you post your pic here of the young you ? evening gown?
Only because they are from back when I was young and pretty, lol (and thin)

That one is my favorite, but I think this one is the one you likely meant:

(I may have had a thing for black and white dresses, lol)

I have a zombie fly have smacked the same one and actually connect with the swatter 3 times and he still took off somewhere.

regular house fly or? Iknow the horse flies in Indiana would do that -- you could whack the heck out of them, or zap them with the bug zapper racket, and they'd fall , lay there like they were dead and then a few minutes later just fly off.....learned pretty quick to stun and then stomp.

CB, I think it's important that you know that I believe you are a very, very good kid -- your Granny is blessed to have you and you to have her.

must be 35, must be a natural born US citizen and um been a long time since school

......you forgot the most important part, must sell your soul
Mare's heat pack should be good. Can the lady stick it on the microwave for you? Small cardboard box is good insulation, wrapped in towels like Twist said, one over the top to keep the heat in. Should be okay. Or brink Binks. He can cuddle the chick until you get home.

Oooh, look, my heat pack is going to be useful! I agree, heat pack in a small box or other container will be fine -- heck , for a 20 minute drive I wouldn't even worry *that* much about the heat pack

they are both beautiful but yes I did mean the second one. Thanks you !
Your heat pac has been useful many many times . it has helped my back, my neck, my foot and Toms hand. Thats not counting it works like a worry stone. LOL I have popped /crushed every seed in there .

oh I talked to the woman w/ the chicks . They are still hatching and she hasnt even opened the bator. She has a 2 week old I plan on getting. It has hafl of a white toenail but I dont care. It has some feathers too so I wont worry about it being too cold.

Someone is going to build me a coop. It will be 4by 8
4 feet tall.
Very sturdy not like the junk from tsc.
Estimate is 600 dollars. Does that sound like a good deal?

Is this someone doing it as a business type thing or a friend who says they'll build it if you buy the materiel? That matters on whether the price is fair or not since the latter would mean allowing for labor costs in addition to the materiel and that can account for a considerable increase in the overall cost. Overall, $600 isn't unreasonable, imo, if you aren't supposed to be paying for materiel only.

Fresh snow is beautiful, but it's surprisingly easy to live without it.
I need one snow each winter at the least ---

morning everyone..big frost here..
Morning, Danna, sounds like you had a chilly start to your day!

Awesome!

she the only one I know with babies. I really dont like the black chickens . I need something to keep this white one company It cries all the time. This one is double its size. I hate buying just one too in case something happens I will be right back to where I started.

That's exactly what happened to me. I only had one chick hatch so I went and bought one chick. A polish. It died so I was right back where i started.

Mare. It is a guy I found on Craig list. He is doing it to make money. I had him over to show him what I wanted. My husband would do it. but he doesn't have time. I know when my SIL built my first coop the materials were quite expensive.

Quote: Too bad it wouldn't post. It's a good one.

Sorry about your poor DH. Sounds terrible for him. Take care of yourself too.

I don't remember this one. The dress is beautiful, so are you! I love the heat pack. The cold is really cold, but not as painful as ice.
