Granny's gone and done it again

We go through StL. We used to stay a couple nights but haven't in a few years. With the kids we have to stop in weird times/places.

that would still be 5 1/2 hrs from me.

Last time I was on an air plane I think I had a heart attack. I put it off as a panic attack . I was standing in a very long line waiting to go through the umm, thing that xrays you. My heart started flipping really bad and ton of chest pain. I was squished between so many people ! I was flying alone too but it wasnt much longer after that I had my HA so I dont know what that was.. They took my toothpaste. LOL

I had a panick attack on a flight once. The flight attendant offered me oxygen. I was crying and couldn't catch my breath. This elderly Asian lady beside me offered an "herbal remedy." She was very sweet to show me the packaging and assure me it wasn't something sketchy. At that point I didn't care It was a little pearl bead that I let dissolve on my tongue while she coached my breathing. Then wrapped several in a Kleenex for my flight home.

I have been orchestrating things here. #1 and hubs are going hiking/mushroom hunting out at the coast. #2 and I will stay here so he can work on his school project and we will help sis move some furniture too. If I am really ambitious, the coops will get cleaned. They are getting stinky. All my plans may come to naught, though, as Ming is, at this moment, slinking her way up to reclaim her spot on my lap.

I was flying once with Robert post 911 and I was explaining to him you cant say the word bomb. BIG mistake ! LOL He was 5? I think and he waited til we were walking through the airport of course. Mom, why cant you say bomb? Can I say other stuff like blowing up or dynamite ? Mom, What will happen if I say Bomb ? All the time getting louder. Mom, nothing will happen , watch. BOMB BOMB ...

he was a handful that one.

Took DD flying , She ended up closing the whole airport in Mi. We were getting pictures in the little booths with my dad. Turned around and she was gone ! Immidiate lock down of the whole airport including planes. Her came a stewardess carrying her. She was about 5 too.

What am I going to do with one egg?

I've made arrangements with Mollie to duckling sit for me while I'm gone. I'm bringing the brooder to her. The honas have a big waterer and I can give them several feeders. I just told her if she'll come over and check on them every couple of days then she can keep all the eggs she gets.

Sunny side up on some grits? One egg in a bowl is very sad. They are social and need others around then!


A good house sitter is a blessing. One who can do animals too is priceless! Does this mean you get Christmas at home?
Do the dogs go with you?

that was very sweet of her. Any idea what it was ? I got some valium for Tom when we flew because he had never been on a plane. Guess who ended up needing it ? LOL And I have flow 27 times .
