That's true in many places --- there are some SERIOUS consequences to getting caught coloring outside of the lines when it come to that stuff.

The ducks are in a right little ball right beneath the heat lamp. I'm glad I found one more big bulb. I need to go pick up a few spares, and get the cracked corn DH refused the other day. It's half the price of layer, so if it pushes the feed twice as far then it's a good purchase. I need to hit him with the numbers.

I love how quickly down warms up. I should save the down from birds we process and put them in a quilt. That would be the very best thing. I hate seeing all the gorgeous feathers tossed out.

baby ducks dont have down yet. Or an oil gland. Thats why they can drown. I knew it was something like that. I found it today.
