Granny's gone and done it again

I got the goat coop and chicken coop totally scraped and empty. Taking a little break.

Sounds like a good idea - that's a lot of work you got done!

That's my kind of craft project, lol
Anything. I have to make a homemade Christmas gift for my niece. She is in college. Any ideas? I wish I could crochet one of those cute animals.

Is she in the dorms?
Went to pick turnip greens & roo had eaten most of them. Watered all plants with miracle grow. No rain for 79 days.
Naughty roo!

Hi all! How've ya'll been? I finally got caught back up last night, then I was too tired and had a bit of a headache from staring at the screen to post.

We are having to change all of our plans around for next year and will have little to no egg hatching, because I will be "hatching" one of my own! I'm super excited, we've been trying for 2 years now.
Well, congratulations!!!

Fed & watered all my critters. Dh complaining because i have fed all the yard roos to bella. This from a man complaining about the feed bill. Can t win with him. He told me i had to cook more than biscuits. He was starving. We had biscuits, fried eggs & fried green tomatoes with our coffee this am. I think his memory is toast.
What would happen if you handed him a frying pan and wished him luck?

This morning, radio said that the southeast is going to have a dry winter.

Just caught up, and it's time to go! Got to take some things up to my dad and go get #2.

Granny, you going to write a how-to article about your water heater? You should! The pics are great.

Whew -- grocery shopping DONE!!!!!! Got a huge turkey (.49 a pound when you bought $50 in groceries so I took advantage of some sales and stocked up a bit for the pantry), I love Thanksgiving leftovers so I always buy bigger than we need.....if you ask me, the only reason to have a turkey dinner is so you can have turkey noodles the next day! Realized I have no idea if the in-laws are the cranberry sauce and/or yams type (we generally aren't) so may have gotten a few things we won't use, don't want to disappoint anyone. Also stopped by Dollar Tree and picked up a new supply of cards for sending to DD.

Pulled into the driveway and looked over towards the house only to see a desperate looking Sheldon with one paw caught way up high on the sheers in the window......

He had his back feet resting on the cat tree down below so at least he wasn't hanging from them, and that is probably all that kept them from being torn down, but he was very much stuck....no idea how long he'd been like that as I was gone for a couple of hours, so I abandoned the groceries and came to his rescue.

Heard from DD this morning -- they are tentatively scheduled to close tomorrow afternoon....not holding their breath, though.

I know how you miss her. Its a too bad sh isnt buying close to you. I bet your son misses her too. I remember when my sister left home. It about killed me.

Granny, the kids taped buttons on a pink striped sock the other day and made a puppet. It wasn't an old sock, it was a good sock. But I cracked up every time I saw it and couldn't fuss.

They liked to poke it around the edge of the door and tell jokes when I was in the bathroom. :gig
