Granny's gone and done it again

Part of her explanation of not reading the question included "I find it takes up a lot of time to in asking the questions and makes the whole process longer than it needs to be" so I took that as "don't read the question out loud" -- I kind of lead into the answer with a bit of a lead in that referenced the wording of the question (each panel member had a copy of the same sheet I had so they had the questions in front of them).

OOPS on the spicy tacos --- do you use lettuce on your tacos? If so, loading up on lettuce is a good way to take away some of the heat in the bites.

didnt have nutting but taco cheese. sucks. I normally dont eat them at all. If I do I like nacho cheese doritoes, meat cheese, lettuce, sour cream and guac. oh cant forget tomato . LOL

Are you opposed to skinnless chicken for eating/cooking? That is an easy way to avoid the whole issue of plucking. I find with the right breading you don't even really miss the skin for things like frying, etc.

Some girls are just that sneaky, nary a sign to be seen and then you look away for 30 seconds and BAM, there's a baby.
Good vets are SO few and far between, they are worth their weight in gold and are sorely missed when they aren't there anymore.......especially good vets with reasonable rates! I about choked when I took Z to the vet that the in-laws recommended out here ----- nice enough people, but the prices!!!! Now I know how they were able to afford to build their fancy, new "state of the art" clinic/hospital and staff of 20+ --- found a nice place here in town, looks like a little hole in the wall, and think that is where we'll be going from here on out......really liked the receptionist and vet when I stopped in to chat with them

I hear you on that, Twist, went through some major insecurity when we had first moved because I left all my stockpile of food and my extra freezer with DD/her DF --- finally starting to feel a bit better now as I got a freezer that I am in the process of filling and I have been able to start getting a good fill on the pantry shelves, REALLY looking forward to next year when I can get some canning and home-frozen veggies put up, plus DH is talking about going hunting with his cousin for elk and deer!

SO glad to read this - have been thinking of and worrying about him (and you).

LOL, call him your "service turkey"......maybe "emotional support turkey"?

Nawww, All ya'll are my emotional turkeys !

Me thinks all heck is about to break loose in my coop. CB took care of the chickens . I said, did you do the tolbunts ? He tends to forget them. He said, they had food and water yesterday. OK BUT the reason you do them every day is because you look them over as well as their food. He goes back out and then he comes and sticks a hen in my face. I wish he would stop sticking animals in my face with no warning. Anyway tolbunt hen has puffy eye. I wont play around with this so out comes the denaguard and molasses. I walk back with him to take a look at the others and my polish roo in a different coop is down. Wont open his eyes blind as a bat. Pick him up and he stinks , BAD.

I said it, I will get rid of the extra roos and watch what happens. All my meds are expired and I heard come Dec/jan you wont be buying more without a script.
