Granny's gone and done it again

Good morning! Busy day today for me. Got a bug spraying guy coming over in about 2 hours to get rid of our ant colony, so I'll be stuck outside for about an hour and a half after he gets done spraying, plus the time it takes to spray. I'll be catching the girls that are going to be sold today (2 Welsummers and 2 Easter Eggers) and putting them in a kennel with some water until 4.

Also need to do a trash run, pick up meds at 2 different pharmacies (hopefully they're both ready), pick up a copy of my labs to drop off at the ob-gyns, pick up dings and dents and cull produce from the store and pick up a bag of rabbit feed...somehow, since I'm not allowed to lift more than 10-15 lbs, per my family, not a doctor.

Eventually I need to move the cats back to the main house and try to unpack some things. And the husband wants me to grab at least one load of stuff from the other house, because we really, really need to finish moving. Oh, and I need to do this whole puttering every 10 minutes and super limiting how much I eat, because if I overeat, I will only be able to eat 1 meal today. I did that the other day with a taco salad.

These little restrictions make everything difficult, but I found out yesterday that my HCG blood test shows I'm already 7-14 weeks lol A lot further along than the nurses at the ob-gyn would believe me to be. They kept saying I must only be 2-3 weeks, despite having symptoms for 4 weeks. And they wouldn't give me an appointment before Dec 15th. So yea, I won that argument with science, which is a great feeling.

Whoa, you are busy!

I was thinking the same thing as Jane. You can use borax (boric acid) to make a bait that will kill the entire colony. Very low risk to use and effective.

WP stay outta that sprayed house. Do u have someone who will go in to open the windows for u. That stuff can be dangerous for the baby.

Don't worry, I won't be in the house for at least a few hours. My husband will be home from his gunsmithing job and can open the house up before I go in. We can't really do borax because these are carpenter ants, not sugar ants. They actually have to be sprayed for. That's part of why I have so much planned today. We will be spending a very limited amount of time in the house that way.

Wow that's quite a day. I would careful of the bug spray and I wouldn't try to do so much. If you feel good ok, but if you get tired rest. The stuff will get done one way or another.

Honestly, I'm pretty used to being exhausted in the afternoons. If I don't get as much stuff moved, it'll be fine. I just need to get the actual errands done. One of my medications makes me exhausted a good chunk of the time anyway. It's a crappy side effect. I was feeling tired the last few weeks/month or so, more so than usual, but being pregnant totally explains it lol

I got quiet trying to think of a good post for 12345, then realized I missed my chance.

Hello. :frow Bubba puked last night, DD is down today. Puked in the car, good thing we remembered the bowl. I'm not feeling great either. :hit
