Granny's gone and done it again

Robert has come out and is willing to help make the bills so I will be gone for about 20 min.

Which roo is it? They can get over a lot of stuff. More important if he's eating and drinking. He could starve to death when maybe he could otherwise survive what he's got. Did you figure out what it is?

polish I kept for breeding . He smells so bad I have to think its infectious coryza. Bad stuff. He is just nasty, ..

Ugh. It sounds bad. http://www.thepoultrysite.com/diseaseinfo/82/infectious-coryza/
But it also sounds treatable. They say only 20% mortality or less.

I went up to check on the bantams. The serama cockerel is chasing the cochin around. It's like he doesn't recognize her as a chicken or something. Last night, she was up on the roost early, with an empty crop.

I took her down and made sure she got something to eat, but he kept trying to get over to her. He's still at it. I was trying to rig up a pen in the corner for him, but that was freaking them all out, so I let them out to free range a bit, and of course as soon as I did, I heard a hawk.

So I've been hanging out with them, being a GLP (guardian livestock person). Sorry I ditched you, but I have to get back out there for a bit longer. Going to lure them back in with some seed and corn.
