Granny's gone and done it again

You guys are making me so hungry. I am sad I am missing out on the family dinner this year. I did order a thanksgiving dinner that's in my freezer. My husband will bring me food also. I think I will watch the chicken show on Amazon while I wait for him to come home.

wish you could eat with us but I have to say, I am a horrible cook and your not really missing anything LOL

Turkey Trouble ! My turkey is nice and brown . It is a 9lber that has been in for 4 hrs. ok, so its burnt. . The problem is, the little red thing didnt pop up. and I cut into it and the meat between the thigh and body . well, the thing is pink. Its back in the oven as the beans grow cold. oven was 330 its at 350 now. Is it done ?

Hi granny , I have a place to go just no sitter for my dogs. My dog sitter has the flu.

Thank you for the offer.

Was your turkey still frozen? Do you have a meat thermometer? Are her legs spread?

:thumbsup    do you do your mashed taters with a hand held mixer ??   I find it easier and I get creamier taters that way.   NO lumps     save them for the gravy   :hide     sometimes    but even that is better since I found  "Wondra"    which is super fine flour

We do potatoes almost every year (call it early for our potluck dinner). For 30 people, most of which are kids, we did 10 lbs of potatoes this year. Also added 1/2 lb butter (will dot with more when I reheat it before we go), pint or pint and a half of heavy cream and about half a block of Dubliner (Kerrygold) cheese from Costco. It's a hit every year. We're also doing gravy, but it will just be a rúe and some chicken stock.

Which chicken show on Amazon?!?

I guess my binge watching of macgyver has made me blind

I always buy the Kerry gold butter . From grass fed cows. I love it.
