Well, the listing is off the interwebs but if the for sale sign is still there by move in day....either they take it down or we do. And if we do...well, mama needs to build a new coop so...it may find itself repurposed.

Lucky me though, work has a metric poop ton of wood that would otherwise go in the garbage. There may be some concrete slag on it but hey. Freebee! Our yard foreman is thrilled I want to take it lol.

"Do you have room now? I'll haul it down there for you myself!" (Bear in mind I'm a good 45 minutes from work lol)

There will be a coop de grace. And it will have a roof.

Dh forgot to close gate & let the horse get out. I gave him fermented corn to get her to come back across the road. He just set the pail down in front of her & walked off. Here i go in my housecoat & gown across the road with a hoe handle. Bum knee, upset stomach, & it was drizzling raiin. I told her to get home & threw the hoe handle at her(didn t hit her) '& she ran for the gate. Gave dh a piece of my mind & went back to lay down & rest.

Wow, he doesn't have a clue does he.?

Tomorrow is gonna be a cookie baking/mixing day, I think. I'm looking forward to it. Made the big decision today to sell off about 90% of my flock. I'll be keeping the geese, a few specific chickens (Squeaky, Chicken Buddy, Posh, and a banty Naked Neck roo), and my cayugas, but everyone else goes.

Next year, I'm going to order some Naked Necks and White Rocks to make up the new chicken flock. I really want some fat, friendly white Naked Necks and I really regret culling our White Rocks this year.
