I'm almost ready to call it quits. It's more work than fun and I hate always fighting about feed costs and expansions. Half of my flock don't have names, which isn't like me at all.

Can you do it so the chickens pay for their feed by selling chicks and eggs?

I just got tylan powder in the mail . was probably out there same time I was culling the rooster.

I have never made a dime off my chickens. I love the eggs though ! If I figured out what I have sold compared to what it has cost in food and meds. I would cry.

Pox is a virus and it lasts a long time. Tylan might help lessen any secondary bacterial infections, but even though you caught it very early (before you could even tell it was pox) the Tylan can't do much against pox.
