VetRx for respiratory distress in pullet

What has your experience been with VetRx?
You have a pullet in respiratory distress? Can you elebarate a little more?

Coughing, sneezing, wheezing, bubbly eyes, mucous, facial swelling, mucous, etc.?

VetRx is a remedy much like Vick's Vapor Rub. VetRx may help alleviate some symptoms temporarily depending on the cause of symptoms.

If your pullet is Sick with Respiratory Disease like Mycoplasma, Infectious Coryza then it may be necessary to help treat symptoms with an antibiotic. Depending on what disease your dealing with would dictate which antibiotic to use.

Respiratory distress can be due to other things like Ammonia (poor ventilation), Stridor (getting mucous/food/debris in the airway) which generally resolves on its own within 24hrs, injury, aspiration, etc.

I have used it for chickens that are struggling with respiratory symptoms. It might help them breathe a little easier at night so they can rest and recover a bit. I rub it under their wings so when they tuck their heads under to sleep they breathe it in. It is by no means a cure for anything and any improvement I’ve seen while using it is because they are able to rest a little better.

Pullet, 4 months old.

I am seeing her sides expand with her breathing. She hides from her flock and the guineas and ducks. They are housed in a screened coop overnight and have access to a larger yard during the day.

I have her now isolated to a coop for her to rest. I have electrolytes in the water and food.

I had not heard of VetRx. Thank you for explaining its use.
