Granny's gone and done it again

Well, I could.  But then I would have an incubator. That is a dangerous thing.

The Tolbunts have been nothing but disappointment for you. Not meant to be, I guess.

h2o, the only way granny would know for sure what the birds have is to have a necropsy done.  She's have to pay.  I don't think Indiana has a program like California does.  Those respiratory diseases have a lot of the same symptoms.  It's tough.

Someone told me they were going to start charging for them. Have you heard anything?

Who decided we cant buy antibiotics for our chickens anymore ? I live in farm country and theres not a vet around that treats chickens. I did have one (as a favor) order meds for me once.. Its not like we cant get them , its just going to cost more.

Im starving, I would love to dip my cracker in campings soup. LOL It looks like au jus for the roast beef sandwiches.

I'll give you the "recipe" :lau

Chicken bouillon, mushrooms, celery stalk and leaves, sliced onion, garlic, and a couple eggs. Boil til it's all done.

It sounds good ! did you have to boil the celery forever ? Did you drop the eggs in whole after the rest was done ? I love easy !!

It didn't take long. I think I used 4 cups of water, small batch. I dropped the eggs in before it started to simmer. It all cooked together about 10-15 minutes.
