Alright. Sorry I've been antisocial again hens and Roos...it's not for happy reasons I assure you.

Still haven't closed on the house. Been told that after the broker does their review (48 hours, naturally 48 business hours so hopefully Monday) then we get sent some more disclosures to sign. After we sign that, there's another three days (not sure for what) to close.

So best case scenario looks like Thursday. Which, I really hope so cause we will need the weekend to move and fashion something for the girls.

To the banks...there is no curse in elvish, entish or the tongues of man for this treachery.

#1 got a ride over with my sis. No way he could have negotiated all that. Petaluma isn't even a city, just a small town. The old historic "downtown" area has gotten very popular, but the streets have not gotten wider, just made into infuriating one ways and no left turns. I was never lost so much as I couldn't figure out how to get where I wanted to go. All that for bad food!! Glad I got out of it. Just wanted to be there for moral support for sis (and #1) who hates those kind of functions even more than I do!

You tell CB I said I won't send him anything more if he complains to you. So there!

Recluses unite!!!  I am ridiculously socially awkward (anxiety issues), so the internet is a Godsend to me in that I can actually *talk* to people this way.

Yep, I get anxious just thinking about meeting new people. But, I have met a few good farm people locally and I definitely consider them my friends.


Granny, it looks like the pup has been licking. I had a dog growing up that would kick and chew his paws (nervous habit) until they looked like that and worse.


Heard from my dad tonight. He lives about 4 hours away from me. They got at least 8" of snow in one night earlier this week. My little sister got to go out for a "night on the town" for her birthday, which almost never happens since she's been working 5 12's a week at the county jail. Apparently she met up with our other sister and our mom (I don't have a relationship with my mom). And somehow my older sis spilled the beans on my pregnancy. So, that was an awkward 20 minutes for them and I'm sure they both feel like crap for bringing it up. Oh well. My family just doesn't get any exact dates for anything because of stuff like this.
