ok Jake, what type of fowl are you keeping ?

Just chickens. I have 3 Amber-Links, 1 White Leghorn, 1 Buff Brahma, 1 Olive Egger, and 1 Chocolate Cuckoo Orpington. I want to try some turkeys and geese but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I had amber links! Loved them. They rubbed on my legs like cars when I walked through the yard. They were ex-bats and absolute bottomless pits. Only left the feeder to lay.

Interestingly, one of them adopted a clutch of chicks that were 4 wks old. Their broody abandoned them, so the amber link started sleeping in them at night and she'd cluck at them in the yard to keep them close.

sounds like a nice flock. I just got my first turkey and she now has the pox.  I think she may of brought it into my flock.

Mine were awful ruthless bullies to other birds. I traded them a long time ago for a gorgeous brooder.
