I have thought that your kandycorn polish are interesting. If i had known our weather was going to be so mild i would have done an october hatch. Everyone said early cold winter. Want to cross polish with legbar. Hope to get interesting feathering & a topknot. Wish i had some kandycorn.

You and camping might be the only ones not having an early winter. It froze again last night. This time the water in the layer run had a crust of ice. My chickens are ice virgins... they don't know how to break through to the water!

I have read you can block off the corners of brooders, if the chicks tend to get stuck there. Bend a piece of cardboard and wire it in place.

MH, so glad you missed the tornado!!!! Living in California, the thought of earthquakes is kind os hoo-hum, but tornados, which we don't have, scare the tar out of me.
