the corned beef should come with a small package of seasonings I rinse my meat off and then stick in crock pot with the seasonings and a little water. For the cabbage just cut as much as you want for the setting, rinse with water don't dry all the way and then nuke until it as done as you like it , I just put salt, pepper and a little butter on mine. Although bacon grease might be good.

I like fried cabbage or sweet and sour.
